This breakthrough promises responsive, private AI applications that don’t rely on cloud computing. Microsoft researchers demonstrated that selective training on high-quality data can make these smaller models perform on par with larger counterparts.

This approach challenges the trend of ever-growing AI models, suggesting that smarter AI doesn’t always mean bigger. How can businesses leverage these compact AI models to enhance user experience and data privacy while staying ahead in the AI race?
