AI search engines are not ready to replace human judgment, and Google's recent mishaps prove it. Google's new AI Overviews feature has been giving bizarre and incorrect answers, such as advising people to glue cheese on pizza or denying the existence of Kenya.

Similarly, Perplexity AI faced backlash for plagiarizing content. These issues highlight AI's fundamental flaws: hallucinations and poor source judgment. Despite advancements, AI can't distinguish good information from bad.
