NASA has partnered with Microsoft to launch Earth Copilot, an AI-powered chatbot that simplifies access to vast geospatial data about our planet. By integrating with NASA’s Visualization, Exploration, and Data Analysis (VEDA) platform, the tool hopes to “democratize” data access for non-experts. For now, Earth Copilot is limited to researchers testing its potential, but its implications are significant.
