Prominent AI experts warn of existential threats from unchecked artificial intelligence, drawing parallels to risks like pandemics and nuclear war. They call for a global priority to mitigate these risks despite some deeming such fears exaggerated. I very much agree with this and covered it in my TEDx talk last week.
