From virtual real estate and real-life virtual spaces to battle royal social spaces selling digital fashion and copyright infringements for Roblox, I aim to look into every corner of this digital world, shining a light on exactly what is going on and taking a closer look at what all of these ones and zeros mean for our public and private lives.

Hopefully, by taking a closer look at this new frontier, we will get a better understanding of what it means for our professional and personal lives and how the metaverse will change our society.

### 1\. Invite Amazon to your home, everywhere, any time.

Last week, Amazon released multiple gadgets to invade your home even further. You can now buy a friendly home robot on wheels - called Astro, a digital pinboard for the family, an interactive device for kids - called Glow, an exercise and health tracker - called Halo View, a smart thermostat and, to top it all of, a flying security camera. ### 2\. Your location data is worth $12 billion.

It is no secret that companies are buying up our location data en masse. Then it also shouldn't be a surprise that this is a $12 billion market, though it does seem not right that others are monetizing our movements to such an extend. ### 3\. Looking for a new stove? Maybe opt for lasers.
