This initiative is especially pertinent as billions of people across the globe, including in pivotal nations like the US, UK, and India, prepare to vote in significant elections this year.

As technology advances, the sophistication of deepfakes will only increase, making them even more difficult to detect. This arms race between deepfake creators and detection algorithms poses a significant societal challenge. We must develop robust methods to identify and combat deepfakes, ensuring the integrity of our elections, the justice system, and the trust we place in the information we consume.
