A Misstep in monitorship: The AFT-GPTZero pact is terrible.

The American Federation of Teachers (AFT) partnering with GPTZero, an AI identification platform that does not work, uncovers a broader schism between educational praxis and technological reality. Unfortunately, AI detection systems don't work, even OpenAI stated that. Instead of using tools that do not work, we should focus on educating students on how to use these technologies instead of banning them.
