Data Storytelling and Visualisation: A Practical Approach

My latest article:

Data storytelling and visualisation are two key methods of communicating with customers. They can help customers understand the value of your products and services and, for industries like insurance or finance, also their risks and exposures.

Three Useful Nuggets of Information

My weekly tips from around the web to get you thinking.

1. China taking the lead again in supercomputing.

Although OceanLight, a Chinese supercomputer with exascale capabilities, had previously failed to find its way onto the Top500 list of fastest machines in the world, it has once again surged back into prominence as one of just three finalists for this yearโ€™s Gordon Bell Prizeโ€”also known as the Nobel Prize of Supercomputing. (Tomโ€™s Hardware)

2. Google tries to build robots like you and me.

Google researchers recently challenged a robot to build its own burger from plastic toy ingredients. While that robot won't immediately take over for human line cooks, it demonstrates Google's growing expertise in artificial intelligence. (Washington Post)

3. Demand for blockchain developers is growing fast, really fast.

The first half of 2022 was rough for cryptocurrencies, but it did not slow down the growth of blockchain. According to a survey collaboration by LinkedIn and OKXโ€”a digital trading platformโ€”the number of individuals working in the blockchain sector increased almost 80% annually as June 2022 approached.
