We have the Internet of Things that will connect billions of devices with the Internet, enabling consumers to share their data online and companies to understand how their products are used. Next, there is the Industrial Internet, which is basically the Internet of Things for manufacturers. With the Industrial Internet, machines will be able to communicate and coordinate with each other in completely new ways, previously not seen before. This will results in optimization of the production process, reduced costs, faster product development etc. It represents a revolution in doing business.
